Melbourne maternity photoshoot, at Sandringham Yacht Club

A very special maternity photoshoot for these two Melbourne-based sailors, who are pregnant with their first little baby!

After chatting to Jade, it was very obvious that the only place we could do the photography session was on their most recent yacht project at Sandringham Yacht Club in Bayside Melbourne. Jade was 38 weeks pregnant at this point so I was keen to capture her maternity session ASAP, and somehow with some juggling (and a lot of luck in the weather department), we pulled it off. Naturally I was very uncool about the session and ransacked my whole wardrobe for any nautical attire that would help me look the part on a flashy yacht ;)

I can’t wait to do their newborn photoshoot, and see how they have decorated their baby’s nursery. I am hoping the nautical theme extends to their home too!

This Melbourne- based couple wanted a maternity shoot before their first baby made their way into the world. This is your typical summer night in Melbourne, and I particularly wanted to showcase this Mornington Peninsula location during this season.

This Melbourne spot has the perfect combination of long yellow grass, the ocean in the background and even a rocky beach down below the cliff. This is one of the most popular Mornington Peninsula location choices for photography (particularly maternity photography) and it’s easy to see why.

Family K- Bayside Melbourne Maternity-Family photoshoot

When Sophie contacted me for a Family-Maternity photoshoot with her two girls and Cavoodle Tufi on a Bayside beach in Melbourne I was so excited! Combining all my favourite elements- family, maternity, a dog and a beach- I knew we’d have a fun evening. And we did! Sophie was pregnant with twins and wanted to capture photos of their family as a family of 4, before they become 6.
