A perfect blend of documentary and gently posed newborn photography in the comfort of your home. This allows you to be relaxed in your own environment. I aim to get a mix of family, sibling and baby-only moments, including their perfect little details.

My newborn photography style is pretty simple and pure, images that will stand the test of time. You will have access to my collection of neutral luxury wraps and blankets and I come all ready to set myself up in a well lit space.

This type of newborn session is ideal with babies around 1-2 weeks old to capture their adorable tininess, but it also works well with older babies too.

50+ images are presented in a personalised gallery, with a mix of colour and black and white images.

How do I book a newborn photography session?

Easy! Just make contact >>here and tell me your due date. I will be in contact with some extra information and instructions on how to pay your deposit. Once your deposit is paid you are booked in, and we touch base when your baby is born to book a session date.

Where do you travel to for a newborn photoshoot?

For newborn photography sessions, I travel anywhere in the Melbourne and Mornington Peninsula regions. A small travel fee will incur if travel is beyond one hour.

What if my newborn is born early or late?

No worries at all. I only take a certain number of newborn bookings per month so I always have flexibility in my schedule to accommodate early/late arrivals.

How long does the newborn photography session last?

Typically 2 hours (give or take 30 minutes). I work around your baby’s schedule and allow time for feeding and changing.

Can I include my pet in a newborn photography session?

Absolutely, I love animals and always encourages clients to include them in their newborn photoshoot, if it is safe to do so.

How does payment work?

You pay the a $250 deposit to secure your session. The remaining $545 is paid on the week of the session. Once you receive your newborn gallery, you can select the 8 images that are included in the price. If you choose to upgrade to 18/all images, you can do so for as long as your image gallery is live.

Can I do an outdoor newborn photoshoot?

Absolutely you can, but please note it may not be possible for me to get the detail shots, or strip the baby down for some of the images that you see in my portfolio. This would be more of a relaxed candid shoot, similar to that of my outdoor work >>here

What happens after the newborn photoshoot?

After the photoshoot, I lovingly spend time editing your images in a mix of colour and black and white. The hours spent in post-production lead to a collection of timeless images that will work well together aesthetically in a series, or just as a stand alone print or frame.

An online gallery is delivered to you, from where you can make your final selections.

Do you retouch?

I do retouch the final images that are selected for purchase. They are retouched in a very natural way though, so retaining the natural beauty of your baby.

What about printing?

This is optional. If you choose to print, you can order through your gallery store or find your own printer.

I am not here to do any hard selling so you can decide the on the route that you take for prints.

I am a huge believe in breathing life into images by printing them, so if you do decide to print through me, I can help you with options.
